When you finally hear this piece you’ll be married! This is a chance to have celebratory music and take a deep breath. If you have a large wedding party or choose to usher family members out of the sanctuary the musicians may transition to some other music if a shorter selection is chosen. You may elect to choose a second piece (called a postlude) although the musicians playing will usually have something ready and adapt as needed.
